Viswavikhyathamaya Mookku @ JT Pac
Lokadharmi performed our play Viswavikhyathamaya
Mookku in JTPac Thripunithura, one of the best theatre spaces in
India. On 14th of July. Viswavikyathamaya Mookku is an adaptation of the famous story by veteran writer Vaikom
Muhammed Basheer, the play speaks about the present hilarious situation our
society is locked in. it satirizes the polity,
media, and the general tendencies to sensationalize each incident leading to no
result. It serves as mirror held to the society and each of us where our on
grotesque deformations are reflected.
Theatrically the play uses masks and gibberish, supplemented with hilarious, grotesque and fast movements. This production is without scenery, costumes, music and facial expression (as actors will all be masked); the production is challenging for the actors as a test of their ability to communicate and sustain the interest of the spectators without such tools. - an experiment in itself.

both of them came on to the stage after the show to congratulate the actors and
